I used Idimager a few years ago but got out of the routine of cataloguing my photos which I mainly blame on the use of the camera phone and photos auto-uploading to the cloud. Anyway I want to revive my old workflow of cataloguing all photos and have been looking at purchasing Photo Supreme.
My plan will be to have all my photos stored on my desktop with its large disc capacity but I would also like to catalogue the photos ‘off-line’ on my laptop either while watching TV or away from home. My question is can I do this with a single license or would I have to by a server copy if I’m running the software on two computers.
Also, is it okay to keep the catalogue file on OneDrive and so the file is synced locally on both the laptop and desktop?
Kind regards
Wayne
Which license do I need to buy?
Re: Which license do I need to buy?
Hi Wayne, I recommend using the single user edition (but the server could also be used). Keep the database on your desktop, not OneDrive. You could use OneDrive for Backup and to exchange the database between desktop and laptop. When working on the laptop you only need the databases, not the original images.
