Need a script please (or an alternate approach)

Post by boatbldr »

Hi there

A relative in another city does not have access to a photo software tool, but knows a lot about older family photographs. They have offered to create an excel spreadsheet with the photo file name, then the labels, and possibly the year the photograph was taken.

Can someone please share a script with me that can import the excel file (or .CSV version of it), then assign the labels to the files in question. A nice to have is if it also changes the "taken date" field. The files are all in .jpg format.

I realise it may be tough given that each row may have a different number of labels in it.

For reference I have Photo Supreme V3.2.

Thank you!

regards

When I cloick on the link above I get a "404" error. Where is the new location to download this script?

boatbldr,

http://repository.idimager.com/openreso ... D96EA3BFD6

it looks like the resource repository got an upgrade :)
but when you go to
http://repository.idimager.com
you are at the main entrance of the repository and from there it's pretty easy to navigate to different scripts...

Hope this helps

Just updated to Build 3.3.0.2564, and when I run this script I now get an error at Line 139:

Unknown member identifier: "idLabel". Any ideas?
