Is there a way to use dynamic search with an "and NOT" parameter.
Here is what I mean:
Assume I have a portfolio called "test" and I add it to the dynamic search panel. Then I add the "print" version placeholder. With "AND" I now get all print versions of the images in the portfolio. With "OR" PSU retrieves anything in the catalog that is either a print version OR included in the portfolio (doesn't make a lot of sense, I know...).
Now, what if I would like all images in the portfolio that lack a print version, i.e., "test and NOT print"?
Can dynamic search be configured that way? How?
I tried ALT+clicking, CTRL+clicking, SHIFT+clicking the "print" label in the dynamic search box assuming it might invert that selection. Doesn't work...
PS: Why do I want to use this?
If I can quickly find any images in my current portfolio that have no print version, I can then fix this and for these images quickly make a print version...
dynamic search "and NOT"?
Re: dynamic search "and NOT"?
Use Alt+spacebar to select an item for dynamic search, then it will be in Exclude mode (NOT).
Once selected, you can also choose to exclude an item from dynamic search. Use mouseclick right on the item, and then select 'Exclude from search'.
Your item will turn red to show that it's been excluded.
