Feature requests and Bug reporting
Re: Feature requests and Bug reporting
Hert, could you please upgrade the version of Mantis?
Main inconvenience is that users cannot delete or update their files. Once it was uploaded - it cannot be edited or deleted. Moreover, every registered user can upload their files (not only the author of ticket) and after that these files display in the header of the ticket. This is may confuse the readers.

+1 to Andrey's remarks.
Also, IMHO it might save some time (for users, but perhaps for developers too) if Hert allowed us to reopen a closed ticket even when that ticket had been entered by a different reporter. First, I thought that is not allowed by the Mantis system itself, but then I found the following info: http://www.mantisbt.org/forums/viewtopi ... pen#p55836

Re: Feature requests and Bug reporting
I'm just a Mantis user myself. Afaik tickets can be reopened...others have done it before.
When a ticket is fixed at some point and the same symptoms return later (after it was confirmed fixed first) then the issue is typically not the same issue. I'm not a fan of reopening tickets, but a ticket reporter can always point to the old ticket when they think it's related.

Re: Feature requests and Bug reporting
I see the Reopen button only in the resolved tickets submitted by myself, not by others. You are right, of course, that the return of identical symptoms does not necessarily imply the same technical issue. (Yet, it does not imply different issues either.)

Re: Feature requests and Bug reporting
When importing videos taken on an iPhone 6 Plus, I've noticed the times to be off by an hour, compared to when the video was taken. For example, I'd take a picture and then immediately after a video, so both times were close together, and PS3 would have the correct time for the photo, but the video would be one hour later.
This is on OS X Yosemite. In PS3, the information I am looking at comes from the "Details" pane, under the "Description Date" section. The file date and time are correct within Finder on OS X.
Is this a bug or a feature? Or does anyone know of a workaround?

Hi Link648099,
I have no idea what causes your specific issue, but keep in mind there are several date/time fields in the metadata standards and, accordingly, in Photo Supreme. You may find some useful info in this thread: http://forum.idimager.com/viewtopic.php ... 4&p=108108 Another thread that might (or might not) be helpful to you is here: http://forum.idimager.com/viewtopic.php ... 9&p=106588
Hope that helps,
Vlad
P.S. Please keep in mind that this very thread is about the general handling of feature requests and bug reports, so it's not a good place to describe specific technical issues or ask questions on specific PSU features. (I'm not even sure how many knowledgeable users did notice your post.)

Desired feature improvement: easy one or two click method to switch between catalogs.
Re: Feature requests and Bug reporting
There's a keyboard shortcut for that, Ctrl-Shift-C (Cmd-Shift-C on Mac)Davidghawkins wrote:Desired feature improvement: easy one or two click method to switch between catalogs.

For issues like this one, can I suggest a category called something like, "Documentation Needs."IDimager wrote:There's a keyboard shortcut for that, Ctrl-Shift-C (Cmd-Shift-C on Mac)Davidghawkins wrote:Desired feature improvement: easy one or two click method to switch between catalogs.

Re: Feature requests and Bug reporting
Hi,
Just wondering if there is anyway that a direct upload to 500px can be created?
Thanks for a great product.

Re: Feature requests and Bug reporting
Is support for 360 degree photos (e.g. from Samsung Galaxy Gear 360) planed or could you add this as a feature request?

Re: Feature requests and Bug reporting
I think I have identified a bug in the file names. On my MAC I have the folders named after the camera used. One camera the Canon M does not display the folder name but the folder structure to get to it. I have renamed the folder within PS but it reverts to the folder structure. When I rename the folder with two characters eg M1 the name sticks.
I am running the latest version of PS.

Re: Feature requests and Bug reporting
Is there any chance that we are getting support for panoramic picures in the near future?
I've submitted a feature request about a year ago in mantis: http://mantis.idimager.com/view.php?id=3144
