I am having real problems trying to save an import profile. I have a OS X version purchased in the early days of v1 through the Mac App Store, which has steadily been updated to the latest build standard (2.2.5.1044).
I fill in basic metadata in the details panel and try to save this as a preset. If I try to save it in the default location (~\Documents) this fails with a small blank pop up box and the application hanging. This may be because the app is sandboxed. Do, I have tried to save the profile inside the container, which I can do. However, now it is as though it has never been saved (maybe PSU doesn't know where to look for it). I am at a loss. What to do?

Re: Trying to save an import profile
When you click the PROFILES button and then select "Save Profile to File" then doesn't that let you save to any folder you select there?

Re: Trying to save an import profile
Hert
Yes it does, except if I take the default documents folder (if I navigate to it that's OK). My problem is knowing how to load the profile again. I thought it would appear on the profile drop down menu.

Re: Trying to save an import profile
Uh oh. I suspect user error!
Re: Trying to save an import profile
Yes, it was user error. However, for the Mac App Store version of Photo Supreme it would be useful to be able to point the app towards saving/loading in the documents folder in the container by default rather than having to navigate there.
Re: Trying to save an import profile
Application that run inside a Sandbox are not allowed to write to the Documents folder without the user consent. It is possible to change the default folder, but that won't help you as PSU won't be allowed to write to that folder and OSX will raise all sorts of errors as a result.
What's your reason against writing these configuration files in the designated (by Apple) Sandbox container? Are those backup considerations?

Re: Trying to save an import profile
It's really just an ease of use issue. Now I know to do this manually (I.e. save inside the sandbox) it isn't a major problem.
