Re: change browser for google maps in geotagging panel??
Further investigation, it doesn't matter what your default browser is, PSU uses the embedded IE browser and it doesn't change the behavior. Also, if you click to view the map in the full browser, no such msg appears. Another observation, if you switch from non-Geo Tag, you get the msg. If you switch ...

And MS was still pushing security updates, at least up to June 13 of this year, for XP.

Re: change browser for google maps in geotagging panel??
As I said before, this does not appear to be an IE issue. I can paste the URL for the geo data into IE and it works without a problem. I think this is a Google API problem. Since the issue came up without a PSU or IE update, I would surmise that Google changed something.

Re: dropdown list for multiple custom fields
Yes, but I don't want to maintain multiple vocabulary files to support this.

Re: change browser for google maps in geotagging panel??
Getting the same message. I assume PSU is using the embedded IE? If I paste the url to either Mozilla or full IE, it works. If I click on the "show coordinates on Google Maps...", it works. Whats going on?

dropdown list for multiple custom fields
Can a vocabulary list be used for multiple custom field autofills? I need the same set of codes to be used in 3 or more custom fields.

Mapping a label to custom fields
I want to map a label to multiple custom fields but ONLY write if a field is empty (i.e., I'm trying to initialize multiple fields), can I? Also, can I do this via a script?

Phil,
Just ran across this topic. I am also a photographer with a primary interest in rail. I originally bought IDI because of it's flexible XMP and am now facing the realization that my custom data cannot be moved forward. What are you doing to get past this?

Does it really work under XP SP3?
I'm pretty frustrated right now. I'm trying to get acquainted with this new software but I can't use it for more than 15 minutes before it blows up. I just downloaded the latest version and it took all of 10 minutes before it crashed during the intense process of scrolling thru some images. Sorry ...

Re: Thumbnail priority
No sure, but I blew away the thumbs database again and I'm leaving the thumbs creation up to the automatic process that takes place during regular image viewing.

Re: Thumbnail priority
The re-thumb process has finished. If I restart that process it still reports that it finds more, but then does nothing. Warm and fuzzy does not describe my feelings toward this procedure so far.

Re: Thumbnail priority
Now the find and build thumbnail process won't build. It starts by searching and in the past, the second process thread started up to do the thumbnail creation. Now, the second process does not start even tho there are still missing thumbs and the first process finds about 500 or so of these. I ...
