I experimented some more and there may be a bug. (NB this is on Windows)

If I start in the GUI and select Filename it shows up as a single block in the GUI with the text %Filename.
Renaming preview shows name + extension.

If I then select 'edit as text it shows up as %FileName.%FileExtension

Switch to 'edit as text and enter You can also achieve this in the GUI editor, but above method is quicker

I also downloaded and tried the script "Full Exif dump" on a set of 1537 images but I get a Not Responding error every time in build 3.3.0.2606 (64 bits).

That generally means it's still working...

In general you could say that detail profiles are used to modify multiple metadata fields in multiple images.
You can apply them ad-hoc (from the menu), during ingestion and when applying catalog labels (and maybe elsewhere too).

I can't check the exact details ATM, but there's a field in the label details to write the label to virtually any metadata field.
Right click on the label to get access.

I assume 'tags' are Catalog Labels (?).

Another possibility is that you marked labels (or label categories) as private.

Conversion and watermarking of images is certainly possible.
You can use for example a batch with 'file format conversion' and 'watermark' actions or use the internal editor (Adjust button)

PSu does not handle video so you will have to use an external tool for those files.
