I´d +1 Barbernac.
folding of relationships would help for my workflow as well, as I use this useful feature a lot ... and then things get cluttered :-}
I´d also add something / another idea from another observational comment here, as it seems it fits the 'feature suggestion(s) on keyword ...

Re: Feature explained: Apply multiple related labels with one click
– this is great for overview!
I just noticed that – seemingly – automatically assigned parents of categories do not transmit their relationships to the media.
– what I mean is: I give Y a relationship to Z (so Z is auto-assigned to every Y labeled item); I make X the child of Z (setting 'assign ...

Re: (how) does osx finder tags to keyword work?
Hert,
thx for all that! works like a breeze now – and that helps very much for several workflows – and makes PSU even more unique in Metadata!
one afterthought, maybe for consideration as to feasibility:
currently the new keyword (from read tags) seems always to be added / updated under ...

Re: (how) does osx finder tags to keyword work?
thx again Hert for looking at this! I appreciate.
I think I understand the presets and the normal sequence of things.
but (it seems)...
If you set the reading of macOS tags ON then on import (or press Cmd+Opt+S to manually read) the macOS tags will be added to the Keywords in the catalog ...

Re: (how) does osx finder tags to keyword work?
hey Hert,
thx for pointing out!
– yes, I saw this, and read it with interest as it came so short after my enquiry.
if I understand correctly that case is the other way round as "Al_M" says his "objective is to have my label structure written as individual keywords into macOS Tags."
indeed writing ...

Re: (how) does osx finder tags to keyword work?
...wondering, if am I the only one on this? :-}
in case this works for others, that would also be an appreciated info, as then I might make that the starting point of my search.
– currently it´s a little 'itchy', knowing there is this fantastic feature, but it somehow doesn´t work :-D

Re: pasting clipboard content (text) - not working on OSX?
thx Alain!
– feedback like this helps!
didn´t realize the more current current OSX Mojave upgrade; and didn´t expect the problem to be possibly situated here
so, I updated to 10.14.6, and now thinks work again!
thx for taking the time! +best! oliver

Re: syncing catalog ontologies btw catalogs – scripter question
hey Hert + everybody interested,
I tested a little - and removing lines 176-206 + 262-70 first seemed to do the job.
– then I found that action would import only top-level category labels, but not any children (empty labels?)
– will maybe try again later fiddling with it, being layperson about ...

Re: google maps for "development purposes only"
hello,
as I am also belonging to the crowd of people who do not want core personal data (identity, financial etc.) in the hands of data-mining industries (to the extent this can be averted), I built myself a workaround. and I find PSU is lending itself quite favorably to that, via its options for ...

pasting clipboard content (text) - not working on OSX?
hello,
I find that pasting text snippets from the clipboard seems not to work in PS (5.4.1.2903 / OSX 10.14.5).
are there any experiences with that? is that a bug, or just something for me
thx for feedback + help

Re: syncing catalog ontologies btw catalogs – scripter question
hey Hert,
thx for that. of course you´re right.
I guess my sub-intent was to see whether there are ppl out there that might have dealt with it; besides, me thinking it is generally a sensible way to approach DB-management, and raising that as ppl around PS seem to go for multi-DB-use often.
but I ...

syncing catalog ontologies btw catalogs – scripter question
hello,
it´s fabulous to have a script for exporting / importing your catalog structure, as it potentially saves a lot of work and takes away need to re-enter/-type whole keyword-hierarchies.
the most obvious use for my set-up is to use it to keep db-metadata-vocabularies in sync. this is not only ...
