Re: Missing A and Z in Preview
Hert, understand and did also se this in the overview of keys
Now, I do not agree with "industry". Letters are more intuitive than numbers and easier to remember
Also CTRL-0 requires two keys and (at least for me) will need two hands
Anyway, I will adjust, no worry, Harald

Missing A and Z in Preview
Morning,
In V6 did I use the shortcut keys A and Z with preview. A gave me the image using all the space and Z gave me the maximum size of image. The A and Z does not work for me in V7. Is there a way to turn them on? I miss them a lot.
Regards, Harald

Re: V7: Rotate image from thumbnail
Thanks Roddyt for info about Bar Style in Thumbnail Style. This was news for me. Excellent info. I tried Hovered and it works ... apart from the small annoying effect that it sometimes rotates 180 instead of 90.

Re: how do you store your images?
Morning,
To me this touch on three related areas:
1/ Where to store the images
2/ Name of an image
3/ Date of the image, that is date when the photo was taken
1/ Storing:
My folder structure is one way up till 2000 and another after, mainly due to the fact that I started using a digital camera ...

Re: Can not update "Original Copyright"
Strange, I did an update this morning, which is not here ... probably due to a user error (of course)
Case closed, problem gone and I am again a very happy user.
Now, I have to admit I am not quite sure what the solution was, my actions were as follows:
I have always used the Advanced Editor, now ...

Re: Can not update "Original Copyright"
This is a JPG file so no sidecar
The file is not protected, I can update other fields like Description or Copyright Notice
I have tried a number of files and Original Copyright is blocked for them all, all other metadata seems to be open

Can not update "Original Copyright"
Morning,
I am using PSU 64 bit 5.6.0.3431 with Windows 10.
In the Detail panel I wanted to write a name in the Copyright area. This I have done a lot in the past but not for some time.
To my surprise I notice the text area called "Original Copyright" is locked. I can not add a name and can not ...

Re: Folder and file names on the file system
I have more than one folder structure, mainly depending on how old an image is and if the image is related to my own family or not:
1: Old images
Folder structure is ..... d:\Name of Archive\Family\Main Topic\Sub Topic\File name
A good example here is a set of scanned images from an old bible. It ...
