I get duplicates (not similar) images that are actually different.
I could not find a way to reset this report.
Any suggestion?

Duplicate images are based on a calculated file signature (hash). If you have unmatched duplicates (try to sort the list first so that dups end up together; eg file size) then make sure that all thumbs are built (Tools->Build Missing Thumbs and Previews from the upper left hamburger menu).
