Apple Photo Captions in Photo Supreme

I had several Apple Photos with Captions and keywords. I exported the originals to a folder in Photo Supreme. I Then verified the folder in Photo Supreme and read the metadata. I expected the captions and keywords to show up either in labels or in details, but I can't find them in either. What am I doing wrong?

To rule out that Photos wrote the metadata but not at all metadata levels, try Metadata -> Convert metadata to XMP first.

If that doesn't bring in the metadata then did you check with a separate tool if Apple Photos wrote that to the metadata of your files? You can use ExifTool for that. If Photos doesn't write metadata then nothing will carry over.
