Hi,
is it possible to direct read 'shuttercount' ?
Till now I did so with ExifTool.
horst
shuttercount
Re: shuttercount
That should be possible.
Keep in mind that shutter count is typically a maker notes field; hence camera specific.
For example, you could use the custom thumb line and from the drop down select "Advanced -> Exif (if available) -> Nikon Maker Notes -> Shutter Count" (if using a Nikon)
Tip; Right click on a thumb and select Run Script from Repository -> Metadata -> Full Exif Dump. That will list all the metadata in the file. And all can be accessed with a macro in PSU. But I can't tell you what it would be for you without a sample file.
