Tags -- face and area

Post by KenGeorge » 13 Jan 19 5:40

G'day

Needing some help/advice with tags - face & area.
If you add tags of either kind is there a way to remove/delete them"
What is the "link" "unlink" about? What effect does this have?
The tip says you can double-click to rename the tag so what effect does this have on the catalog label?
Is there a way to have the tag invisible and only show when the mouse pointer is over the tag?

Thanks
Ken

Click the cross icon in the area's caption

When you link an area to a catalog label then you identified the area as being a specific catalog label representation of (typically) a person. When you delete a linked area, the catalog label wil also be unassigned of the image.

None, typically the name of the area would be the name of the person (hence the catalog label). If you decide to name the area differently then you're free to do so. Area captions are also searchable with the Search Bar, so sometime you could make use of that.

There's not. But you can enable/disable the display of areas completely. Open an image in the Viewer and there select this option.
