Is there a shortcut for cascading metadata?

Post by fbungarz » 04 Jun 15 22:36

Hi everyone,
apologies for asking the obvious, but I searched the help files: Is there a shortcut for cascading metadata?
I regularly cascade metadata from the main to the subversions (sometimes even the other way around) to make sure all versions contain the same data. IDI used to have a shortcut (CTRL+ALT+Right) for cascading.
That shortcut no longer works in PSU. Since a few other shortcuts have apparently changed (e.g. CTRL+ALT+B for the image basket instead of CTRL+B), perhaps this shortcut has been changed too?
Thanks,
Frank

PS: Can shortcuts be configured/changed in PSU?

I agree that no shortcut pertaining to cascading metadata is documented in the pertinent Help file. I know of no way to configure or change shortcuts other than the shortcuts that open images in external editors.

I find myself cascading metadata a lot and have now added a request to Mantis for a shortcut. If anyone else is interested, please support http://mantis.idimager.com/view.php?id=2959
Thanks!
