Moved to a new PC this week. This involved moving an HDD with my pictures from the old box to the new box. It has the same drive letter in both PCs.
Had a current backup of the catalog taken when PS was shut down but PS rejected that. Had a catalog export from back in May which I figured was better than nothing. It imported really fast and didn't seem to include images but did include settings and profiles and
batches and stuff.
Oh, well. Imported to catalog my largest directory of images and PS claims it is now synced up. Imported a couple hundred more yesterday with little issue until I started to use them. I have a preset folder transfer, Media2024 which I have been using since January. If I call Media2024 for multiple images it copies one and PS hangs. If I call Media2024 for one image it copies the image and PS hangs.
It would not surprise me if I have messed up the transfer from one box to another.

Had a thought and turned off the "add result as a version of the original option". That seemed to work except the copies are versions of the original...
For the versioning to work do I need to import the target directory into PS?
Share "Copy to Folder" Versioning?
Re: Share "Copy to Folder" Versioning?
That should not be needed. After using the folder transfer profile, with the version option enabled, the output image will be imported to the catalog and added as a version. For the versioning to work do I need to import the target directory into PS?
If that doesn't work then please contact support.
