How to change which Columns are displayed in Grid View?

Post by ulim »

I would like to change which columns are displayed in the grid view. I can right-click on a column title and a popup menu appears with a bunch of available columns and checkmarks for those that are selected. However, clicking on the checkmark icon or on the column name does not have any effect. Is this expected behavior? Can the displayed columns be configured elsewhere?

Kind regards,
Ulrich

Right click the title line, then normal left click On/Off the lines you want to show hide.

Well, I tried that, but it doesn't work. I can click all I want, but ON never changes to OFF and vice versa.

It looks like there is a major problem on MacOS, latest update. I think my problem may be similar to this one:

Upgrading to the latest version solved the selection problem, BUT:

I still don't have the fields available that I would like to see in the Grid View. I would like to see the description field, but it is not offered!

Define the field as a custom field in the Info Panel (as a predefined field)
Custom fields can be selected to have included in the grid
