Thumbnail appearance

Hi, I have been not at home for several weeks, so, just bought the upgrade but did not install.
Now it's done. Most of the settings have been imported from V6 to V7, but not the GUI of the Picture Explorer and I can't find where to do! Strange

Not sure I understand.
What is the Picture Explorer (perhaps a terms used in the German translation?).
And what are the settings of the Picture Explorer? Maybe you can point it out with a screenshot.

Picture Explorer

... is the main section that displays all the pictures .
I would like to edit background color, detail to be displayed and can't remember how I did so.
