Timing is not ideal because I'm not at base, but I need to upgrade to V4 now for one or more features offered in V4.
I would appreciate any tips so that I can hit the ground running and avoid delays as I use PSu on a daily basis. Any there any points which need careful attention post upgrade, like recreating import profiles, etc.?
Thanks in advance.

Re: V3 to V4 upgrade tips
1. Make a backup of V3
2. Install V4
3. Run V4 (this will upgrade your database)
4. Compact your database
That's it.

Re: V3 to V4 upgrade tips
Stephen, it's a quite a while ago when I upgraded but if it helps I can confirm I had no issues: I did as per Hert's post and it was easy and smooth. I don't recall how long it took, but not that long.

Thanks snowman + Hert.
Hert, I had not ignored your previous reply on this, but was just seeking feedback from others as I know you are busy developing.
The database is on the internal drive, but the images are external. Does the image drive need to be connected too? I guess not as I imagine that the data will not be touched or will it? I do have a backup, but it's best to get it right first time. Thanks.

Re: V3 to V4 upgrade tips
Wow, record speed!
About 10 seconds to install
5 minutes to update database
14 mins to compact catalog database (it always takes about that under v3)
My only complaint so far is the tiny font used. Details in another thread.
