Hello,
what is the easiest way to select all pictures so that I can use the filters?

Re: Easiest way to select all pictures
Hi Thomas, why would you want to start with all images and then filter down?
If, for instance, you'd like all 3 and 4 star images, then
1. click Ratings in the Catalog bar,
2. click 3 stars
3. ctrl (or cmd on mac) + click on 4 star images
You can make all kind of combinations.
TIP; have you read the Searching Quick Manual (hamburger menu -> Help)?

Re: Easiest way to select all pictures
Hello Hert,
I've read the Searching Quick Manual but didn't find a solution. Maybe my way of searching is wrong but it's the way I used the smart albums in Apple Aperture. There you select the different rules/filters and choose "Library" and the entire library will be searched.
An example: if I have the raw's on drive A and the jpeg's for the viewing on the television on NAS. Both are in the library and I want to search for all pictures beginning with DIG0456 (like the film numbers in analog times) to do the versioning, how can I select all pictures to do the filtering to "DIG0456*"?

Re: Easiest way to select all pictures
You can start with the search bar, upper right corner. Just enter DIG0456 there and press enter
