designated printing version
designated printing version
Can a single picture, not part of any set, be designated for printing or is this only possible if it is part of a set? So far, I've defined one of the folder state colors as "Ready for printing" but I wonder if there is a better way.
Re: designated printing version
An alternative for an individual file would be to use 'color label names'. However like folder state colors, you can only assign a single colour to an image - if it's designated as ready for printing, you can't designate it as anything else at the same time, so you need think through your overall approach.
Re: designated printing version
You could also create one or more portfolio collections, for printing purposes, and add your images there, as needed.
Re: designated printing version
Ah, a use for portfolio collections, thanks. Not at my photo computer right now so can collections be nested? Then I could have a master collection for each theme or major subject and inside each one a collection for printing, another collection for ... . OR a master printing collection with a nested collection for the printing images for each subject or major theme.
Re: designated printing version
Yes, a portfolio can have multiple collections in it, and collections can be nested.vkfoto wrote:can collections be nested?
