Share: Copy Reduced

Post by gcorbin » 29 Mar 21 3:07

I use share to export my photos out of Photo Supreme 6.0.0.3625 regularly without issue. I am having trouble with Copying the file to a new folder with resize, longest side 2000 pixels and ‘Enlarge images that are smaller’ unticked. The share works correctly unless I crop the image with a recipe.

My original photo is 4608 x 3456 pixels. If I export this with 2000 pixels longest side, it exports as expected producing an image of 2000 pixels. If I crop the image with a recipe to 2590 x 1945, when shared, I would expect an image of 2000 pixels, but instead I get one of 1295 x 973 pixels.

It seems the share is not handling the recipe crop size correctly or am I doing something wrong?

The sharing feature will apply optionally existing recipes after the downsize.

Thanks Hert.

That means recipe crop and share resize are incompatible, common things I would have thought, but maybe not.

This makes recipes for me useless as the two most common things I do are incompatible. I will have to revert to doing all my editing externally, slower, but it gets the job done.
