Thumbnail quality

Post by Username » 09 Feb 20 21:59

My thumbnails do not look as good as they should imo and I wonder if there's a way I can get them less blocky.
Previews are looking great at 2560 and 90% but I really would like the thumbs to look decent as well.
Rebuilding them do not make them better. Is there a way to force a better setting?

Press Cmd-R (F5 on Windows) if you see this. That will refresh the display.

I've tried refreshing and it do not work as expected.

On my MBP 2015 - If I toggle PSu between being front application is get nicely rendered thumbnails but if PSu is not frontmost application the thumbs gets very pixelated.
On my Mac mini with an eGPU it looks like it's more or less always pixelated.

The attached screen capture is from the MBP on its internal retina display.
