Hello,
I've read what I found regarding malformed database issue and tried a restore of a relatively recent database backup. The same popup populated indicating a database disk image malformation, but it dead-ended there and wouldn't restore. What's next?

Is your database on an internal hard drive? Did you have power outage recently.
Either way, you can always manually copy the two catalog files from the backup to the catalog folder. Then start psu. Compact afterwards
