How do I automatically set jpg as main version?

Post by Jesperben » 17 Mar 18 15:27

I feel a bit stupid asking this simple question, but I can't find the answer myself.

I have four versions of many of my photos - .jpg .tiff .psd and .dng. How do I make PhotoSupreme always use the .jpg as the main version? Right now the .DNG is the main version.

In "Preferences - Catalog - Versioning - Main version detection method" I have tried to use both "first JPEG found", "first JPEG else RAW" and custom file mask (*.jpg). But when I select four images, rightclick, choose "version selected files", the .dng becomes the main version.

I can manually make the .jpg the main version by pointing at the tab on the image, choose the triangle, choose "open version menu", and choose "Set as main version".

I don't remember having problems with this earlier, but it's been a while since I last used PhotoSupreme, so maybe I have forgot something.

I use the latest version of PhotoSupreme -, 64 bit, Windows 10
Trying to get a lot of old pictures out to the family
