Stopping auto history

Post by Larry56 » 01 Mar 18 5:10

In v4 on Windows 10.

When entering text in the Headline field of the Info pane If the first word of what I type is a word I've used as a start of a headline in the past for that field a dropdown shows prior entries. I'd like to stop that behavior. As I recall I had the same issue in v3 but was able to stop it from remembering but I can't find out how to turn if off again. Anyone have any ideas?

I don't think it ever was possible to disable the vocabularies (the history entries).

But you can remove individual entries if you're uncomfortable with having them in the history. Right click on a history item and select "Delete"

Thank you, Hert. Are they stored in a file that I could delete? I never re-use the same headlines and manually deleting one at a time seems too slow.

In V3, they were stored in a file. It appears, and I could be wrong, with V4 they are stored in the database.
