The next -PSU writes immediately after import new XMP files

Hi,

by accident, I noticed it now. How can I turn it off?

This actually depends on your import and sync settings.
The goal of the importer is: get images from the file system in the database and have their states identical.

If your import settings *add* information to the metadata then PSU wants to write those out.

In your case I would disable automatic metadata writing in the Preferences->Sync Settings; at least until after you fully understand what PSU does.
