SOLVED 3.3 server with PostgreSQL not finding server

Post by HCS » 16 Jul 16 20:21

Hi, i'm using the PostgreSQL server version on a MAC.

I've updated to 3.3 today and the client cannot connect to the server, throwing the following error: "Unable to connect to the database. The database reports: Can not load PostgreSQL client library "executable_path/libpq.5.dylib". Check your installation" (see attached screen print).

Did anyone encounter this as well?

I've also downloaded the server package from the web site, but it throws the same error.

I cannot access my database now.

Mantis ticket http://mantis.idimager.com/view.php?id=3038 seems to describe a similar problem on Windows.
I don't know if Hert made any changes to PSU to solve the issue, though.

I would suggest creating a new ticket on Mantis.
