Database connection settings

Post by Fraeco » 19 Mar 15 10:20

Hi!

I've got a multi user server license and installed PS on a Terminal Server.
However, everytime a new user opens PS for the first time they get the te wizard to connect to the database. This is something that I can't leave to my users. I was wondering if the database connection settings are stored somewhere in a file like an ini or something.

This way I could seed this settings file in the profile of all my users and get rid of this problem.

Any ideas on where I could find these files?

At a guess, I'd take a look in C:\Users\userName\AppData\Local\IDimager Systems, Inc

Hi Fraeco,

A warm welcome to the forum.

The first time you start the application on the client side you (or the user) should cancel out of the DB create dialog. They then get asked the question if they want to connect to an existing database. Answer yes there. This is a one time question only (I know there's room for improvement there :))
