displaying area (face) labels in saved image files

Post by dpaine » 10 Dec 14 21:14

I have been enjoying the capabilities of face tagging in PS for old genealogical photos, but I haven't been able to print an image with the labels displaying (I am envisioning two copies of a single group photo on a printed page, one without the labels showing and one with the labels, so that the reader can easily connect the name with the person in the photo). Any suggestions on how to accomplish this?

Thanks in advance.

I can see that would be very useful for your purposes, but I'm pretty certain that it's not possible from within PSU. It would also be useful for me when I get around to importing some of my old photos into PSU, so that I can send them around various relatives for verification. So I've added a feature request for this on Mantis at http://bugs.idimager.com/view.php?id=2710.

For now, the work-around would be to use a utility to copy the on-screen image to a file - though it does mean copying each image individually. In Windows, I use Greenshot for that (http://getgreenshot.org/); there are other similar utilities around.
