How Can I Remove All XMP From Selected Images?

Post by gcoupe » 17 Nov 14 15:59

I'm noticing that many of my older images have a lot of XMP metadata that is best described as "crud" in them. I'd like to freshen them up by first removing all the existing XMP from the image file, and then writing out metadata from PSU into the image.

However, I can't seem to find anything in PSU that will scrub all existing metadata. I see that there is a script in the Repository that will do this, however, that was built for IDimager, and it won't work on PSU.

Any chance that some kind soul could modify it so that it will run in PSU, for those of us who, like me, are programmatically challenged?
