Start with a new catalog in the Mac version

Hi

New user here on Mac 10.9.1 with latest version of PSU. Please can someone tell me EXACTLY how to delete my trial catalog and thumbnails so I can start a new import FROM SCRATCH.

I am just using a few folders so I can mess about and see what happens before I commit to switching from iView Media Pro and 10,000 shots- which seems to have stalled completely and receives no upgrades, help or information since Mavericks!

Are you using the version from the Mac App Store (MAS) or the version from the website? Due to MAS Sandboxing rules each stores the files in a different location so that is relevant information.

1. If using the MAS version
a. Start Finder
b. Press Cmd+Shift+G
c. Enter

/users/<your login name>/Library/Containers/com.idimager.idimagersu/Data/Library/IDimager Systems, Inc./

d. There delete the Catalog folder

2. If using the Website version:
a. Start Finder
b. Press Cmd+Shift+G
c. Enter

/users/<your login name>/Library/IDimager Systems, Inc./

d. There delete the Catalog folder
