Bind or column index out of range

Post by dickl » 23 Sep 12 15:57

Morning Hert,

I just installed the .54 update this morning, and lost access to 'By Folders' again! The bind or column index error message is back!

I looked at the PSU folders, and it does not look like PSU updates are saved anywhere in the system? So I cannot go downgrade to a previous version? I would recommend that some way be provided to go back one version in case a new update goes sour...

Is there a place where I could download previous versions of the software?

Would you consider opening a forum item on listing release notes indicating what is in each new update? Nothing complicated - just a list of the issues addressed?

In the meantime I was having a great time copying PSU databases to my Macbook and rebuilding thumbs and previews so I can run slideshows on the Macbook without having access to the original images ... 23gb thumbnail file!. Yikes! Gotta reduce my preview size methinks...

Sorry, the fix for that caused other errors (you couldnt update the name of a portfolio collection). That got fixed and now both should work but first update again;

http://www.idimager.com/Trial/setup_photosupreme_v1.exe

Does that help?

And any chance of release notes so when we find a bug we can tell whether it is likely fixed in another release? It feels like Beta software to me, the number of things that don't work correctly or as you'd expect.

This version fixes a bug that caused portfolio names not being updatable.
