Export image to another application?

Post by Tom Husband » 16 Sep 20 10:49

Is there a way to export an image direct to another application? For instance a RAW file to DxO Photolab.

In Preferences, go to "Other Settings". There add DXO as an "External Application". Then click OK.
Once done notice the DXO icon in the application (upper right). You can now select one or more thumbs and either drag them to the icon or simply click the icon.

Again, perfect. Don't know how I missed that.

Thanks!

I've recently installed Photo Supreme on a new PC and I had forgotten how to add a link to an external application. In case it helps anyone who is puzzled as to how to do this the process that worked for me was as follows:
- open Windows Start menu
- right-click on the name of the application that I want (Photoshop)
- select More > Open file location
- right-click on the link to Photoshop and select Properties
- copy the Target (in my case this is "C\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Photoshop.exe") and Copy to the clipboard
- in Photo Supreme go to Preferences>Other Settings
- in the list of External applications click on the folder icon near the right of the first (blank) entry
- in the Open existing file dialog Paste from the clipboard into the File name box
Photo Supreme then automatically assigned Photoshop to the shortcut key Shift-1.
So, if I have selected one or more thumbnails in Photo Supreme, when I click on Shift-1 the images are opened in Photoshop.

Perhaps there is a more streamlined way of achieving the same result!
