If you don't get a login dialog then hold down the WinKey (Mac users the Cmd key) when starting PSU and keep it pressed until the login dialog appears.
That solved the problem. Thanks

Re: Can I get rid of password ?

Similar problem here. A few weeks ago as part of a housecleaning on my hard drive, I archived and deleted several thousand images and uninstalled Photo Supreme, including a deletion of the database information on the normally hidden Windows folder. (I did not remove the PS key file from the Windows ...

Re: can i send a photo directly to dxo 9 customize/develop ?

Just switch DXO into Project mode - then it will show only the Pictures witch you sent from PSU There's nothing in the DxO Preferences to set Project mode as a default, but the Folders/Projects tabs are sticky. So, Open DxO, select the Projects tab, then close. The next time you send a file to DxO ...

Re: Picassaweb now sent to Google+

Thanks for the correction, guys. In setting up the service in Photo Supreme, I noticed the redirect to Google+. Prior to now, I've been uploading to g+ through a web page posting. I stopped using Picasa and uninstalled the software long ago. Never did take advantage of what became Picasaweb.

Picassaweb now sent to Google+

The Share images section refers to "Picassaweb" as an option. Some time back Google essentially eliminated Picassaweb, diverting images stored and sent to that location to Google+.

Using the option in Photo Supreme still works, but uploaded images go to Google+

Clarification Needed on Creating Details Profile

How do I create a Details profile limited to my desired metadata categories? I searched for answers here, but finding none began my own experimentation. In saving a profile, it appears each item has either a green, amber or red button, some of which cannot be reset before the profile is saved. In my...

Re: Workflow suggestion for a newbie

David and Todd, thanks for relating your experiences. David, you're SW of Austin, I'm in SW Austin, Oak Hill area. So, I guess we're closer neighbors. The last time I checked the offices of PictureCode, the tiny company publishing PhotoNinja, were located here in Oak Hill. I have used DxO as an alte...

New Image into PS?

In testing Photo Supreme (working from Folders, not Catalog), I have opened a TIF file in an external editor, made changes, then saved as a new file in the same folder. But it appears there is no automatic import of that new file into PS. I had to do that manually. Have I missed the setting for gett...

Workflow suggestion for a newbie

For anyone using Photo Supreme with DxO or PhotoNinja.... Do you find it more efficient to import new raw images into PS and then call the raw developer from there or is it better to start in DxO or PhotoNinja, render to TIF or JPG, then import to Photo Supreme? I'm giving up Lightroom and looking c...
