Re: Beginners Questions to Server Version

Thank you, Dismayed

It seems as if my NAS only has 512 MB of RAM, it is rather a lean version of the Synology portfolio :-) So I should not expect too much for the beginning, but do start to try around what it means to me.

I add some informations: Moving my three thumbnail database files out of the catalog folder and restarting the PSU application did not help unfortunatly. The programm still freezes and the thumb-files are not generated from skretch (I did not expect that either, as I am not able to rebuild the thumb...

Seems I crashed my catalog by verifying the root folder

Yesterday I updated my PSU to the latest version of PSU 5. After the update I was asked by the system if I also would like to update my database, which I confirmed. Everything seems normal and working after that. I then verified my one and only root folder (a NAS folder) by right click on the folder...

Beginners Questions to Server Version

Hey there! Since many years I use PSU standalone for organiszing my private family foto collection on one single windows installation. My wife is using her own PC without PSU (only windows foto functions) and she is adding the most of the pictures. The full installation looks like following. Windows...
