Re: V4.1 64bit for Mac

Mike: it should not be necessary to do this, because PSU should either generate its own previews or take them from the underlying OS. I think you are wrong with this! Only Adobe knows how the image should look like after it has been processed. No other Software can do that - So it is necessary to up...

Hert,
this script is absolutely fantastic!
The PSU's developer always has a surprise in the pocket :)

THANKS!

Re: V4.1 64bit for Mac

Mike,

One question: Did you update the DNG preview and Metadata? (Not just 'save metadata to file')
PSU is using the embedded preview to generate the thumbnails and previews...

In LR I recommend the settings as they are in the screenshot

Have you restarted the application and re-booted your computer?
Is it always?

Re: no geo coordinates found

If you need the key - yes...
But you don't necessarily the key ;)
AFAIK without the personal key you can only request a limited amount of queries within a certain time...

Re: V4.1 64bit for Mac

Can you eplain that in more detail and share your settings? On my Hidpi system - all images look absolutely identical to what they look in LR I have had an issue with dng files but that was more or less a user error. Perhaps you can share a screenshot or even better a dng file, so I can take a look ...

Re: V4.1 64bit for Mac

Mike, I agree that there are sometimes a few instability issues and a some quirks. Though, I even see stability issues with LR, C1, and all the other software... PSU is a very powerful tool, that makes almost everything possible that I need. No other Software you mentioned above comes close to the m...

details tree extremly slow

Hert, I know, this was never fast but with my ever growing image catalog this gets more and more obstructive. (almost 125.000 images) When I need to look up some data in the details tree on the left side to validate some entries, lets say in the copyright notice, it takes a couple of minutes until t...

Re: Errors in Technical Data section

Have you compacted your DB?

Hamburger Menu|Tools|Catalog|Compact Current Catalog

I never reimport images, but I do read metadata from files on a regular basis, which is kind of the same thing ;)

EDIT: Please provide a file if you don't mind

I see that you are using a localization. I don't think this is related to it, but maybe you switch to English to test it out?

Best Regards,
Michael

BTW: A test file would be great as requested by username would be great.
