Re: Import filter based on file extension

Hert,

My regular photos (.cr2, .jpg) to to one folder and my movie files (.mp4, .mov) go to another.

Is that what you are looking for?

Thanks.

Import filter based on file extension

Is it possible to set up import profiles based on file extensions? My regular photos are imported to one folder and the movie files to another. I haven't been able to find a way to filter the the source file type so each will go to the proper folder other than visually un-selecting the unwanted files.

Re: Headline display issue

No, it didn't. When I start PS the headline wasn't showing under the thumbnail but there is information in the headline field. I tried the Cmd-R and nothing happened. Then selected Read from File and it displayed as well as for wrong thumbs. I went to a thumb that didn't have that headline and and t...

Headline display issue

I've assigned a headline to several thumbnails in the Info panel. However, other thumbs are showing the same headline under the thumbnail but when I go to Info for those that should not have the entered headline the headline field is empty. I can read from the file to correct the display but I would...

Re: Unable to open profile

No, I haven't installed both versions. I confirmed by going to Applications and it's only showing one installation.

Could it be because I restored the database from a backup made on my Windows computer?

Re: Unable to open profile

I wish now I'd waited until you'd released the web download version rather than when it was first available in the Apple Store. Live and Learn.... 1. Click on Import 2. Click on Source and navigate to folder to import 3. Click on either "Start Import" or "Select specific images..." Either on return ...

Re: Unable to open profile

I've deleted the file but still have the error message. It reads Unable to create file "/Users/xxxx/Documents/PS EOS 70d.profile.idp" (0) If it matters, this version of PS was purchased through the Apple Store and the Quick Import Wizard works OK. I've also looked at the /Library/Contains/... folder...

Unable to open profile

I want to import a folder on my Mac but when I go to Import I get an error message it's "Unable to load \Documents\PS EOS 70d.profile.ibd (0)" The file does exist in my Documents folder. I'm assuming this is caused by when I tried to backup my database on my computer then restore to my Mac. I don't ...

Re: SmugMug upload : problem/understanding metadata systemat

I'm glad to hear of the change coming in Headline/Smugmug. I too use Smugmug and my workaround was to do the no-no and copy Headline to IPTC Title. And hopefully remember to rename the Title after the upload.
