Imported images are out-of-sync [Solved]
When i import jpg+raw images with xmp in PSU (1.6.0.103), they all have the orange dot to signal the out-of-sync status. The import wizard did not append metadata (Detail profile, GEO inf , etc, version detection) The only Synchronize Settings are Lightroom keywords (read/write), no translation to C...

Re: Workflow Question
Juan, I bought Lightroom primarily for use as a raw converter and to simplify my workflow. It had to replace the old Minolta Dimage Image Viewer Utility and the Cannon Digital Photo Professional software. I tested Lightroom version 1 and 2 but was not satisfied with the color reproduction. In the en...

Re: Workflow Question
If you are "developing" your raw images in Adobe Photoshop Lightroom, you have the option to create "Virtual Copies". This is the best way to keep track of the multiple images you develop from a same image. When creating a Virtual copy, Lightroom will keep track of those images, you can search for t...

Re: "no label" or "not color labeled"?
However if an image has a tag "Label: No label", then PSU filter does not recognise it. Still, thumbnails of such images have a white color strip in PSU. Toomas, if an image has a color label named "No Label" , then the color label is show as silver strip below the thumb, and the text on de Color L...

Re: "no label" or "not color labeled"?
Hi Toomas, the Color Labels are written as text in the XMP. If you open the Details panel and select an thumb with color label, you should see the text that is used for the color label (open the first item "Descriptions"). When using the default settings and selecting a thumb with red color label, t...

Re: Versioning controlled by labels
David, if the "date of capture" is not the same as the derivatives "date of image editing". How do you find a derivate by just using the file system? Are the filenames identical?

Re: "no label" or "not color labeled"?
Toomas, on the screen-shots i see 14 images that all have 1 catalog label. 12 from those 14 images do not have a color label applied. 2 images have a color label that is not defined (Preferences -> Catalog -> Color label Names) and therefor ar showed with the silver color label. The filter seems to ...

Re: Versioning controlled by labels
Mike, I don't agree. I can import the images with nested folders automatically. No way PSu will create derivates in the nested folder. There should been some automatic way of handling nested folders with images. Ex. When i want to open an image in Photoshop from the CV, PSu should ask me if i want t...

Re: Versioning controlled by labels
I don't seee a reasonable workaround for the parallel file structures though. David, you could use a Portfolio to store the Originals, Main versions, Derivates in the same collection. In PSu, the Portfolio is "intended to allow you to build a structure with images that belong together", but they ar...

Re: Displaying image with raw adjustments
Rob, When you save a raw file in Photo Ninja as JPG or TIF, you will see the resulting image after importing the jpg or tif. When you save the edits from raw files to xmp. Photo Supreme cannot display those edits for the raw file. Except for DNG files where is is possible to store a preview. But if ...

Re: Photo Supreme: Rotate Thumbs
Alfons, hover the triangle (or the star if already rated) at the right of the file name. A small toolbar is shown just above the file name with the rotate options at the right.
