Assign GPX points by batch

Hi, I have a series of photos, and a gpx track which I recorded simultaneously. When I assign the GPX point to the photo individually it works fine. When I try to select multiple images, and choose 'GPX Points' I get a strange assignment. All the selected photos get assigned a point that (seems to b...

Rebuild Portfolios?

Hi, I have had two situations where I wish I coulod rebuild portfolios using the embedded PSU metadata. Firstly was when I had a database crash (and very old backup). I reimported all my photos into a blank database, and it rebuilt all the categories/keywords/recipes nicely etc. However it did not b...

It just seems to have come good - I don't know what has changed, but it seems all working now

Re: Having difficulty with sharing to facebook

I was able to authenticate it. While the destination dialog displayed no folders (no timeline, no galleries), I was able to create a folder on facebook from the dialog and upload to it. Next time I wen to share to face book the same thing happens - no folders are displayed. I'm on a fairly locked-do...

Having difficulty with sharing to facebook

Over just the last 2 weeks or so, I haven;t been able to upload to facebook - when I authenticate my facebook account, I go back to PS and share to facebook, the facebook dialog appears, but no galleries or timelines - nothing appear in the galleries list, and I am not able to continue uploading to ...

Re: Batch application of recipes

Well, yes and no.

What I was wanting/hoping was to embed the recipe rather than alter the photo. i.e. behave as though I had 'adjusted' the photo through the adjustment panel, which embeds the recipe into the metadata rather than modify the image.

Re: Batch application of recipes

Thanks, This is what I am doing: A - Recipe File 1. create a recipe file (eg. rotate 90 degrees) under adjustments and save the recipe as a file 2. Create a new batch 3. Add only 'Recipe File' 3. Enter location of saved recipe 4. Apply & save batch 5. Run batch against selected image 7. Image is rot...

Batch application of recipes

I think I asked this question some time ago, is it possible to batch add recipes to an image (embed the recipe rather than apply the recipe and save the output as an image?). For example I want to add the recipe 'Rotate 90 degrees' (stored as a recipe file) to a range of thumbnails, and not alter th...

Selection of Photos on import

Hi, re. importing photos in v2. Is there any way to select and mark one or two photos for import. As near as I can tell, you can only mark/unmark a range of photos based on the date (or all or none or not in catalog). When I highlight a range of photos to mark for import, I can only 'mark all' - whi...

Re: v. v. slow import

did the trick - had to rebuild the profile, but that was OK I gather the profile keeps an index of the photos which have been imported under that profile, so it knows which have and haven't been ingested yet (e.g. on the memory card or whatever). I had opened up one profile, adjusted it, and saved i...

v. v. slow import

I don't know what's happened or changed. As of a couple weeks ago, the import module takes an impossibly long time to bring up the thumbnails for importing (1 hour+), and once thumbs have been selected for importing, the same thing again before the import category prompt. I'm running win 7 64, 8gb r...

Re: Recipes and Batches?

Thanks again. Sorry for prolonging this. I see no 'Apply Recipe' under the batch commands. There are 'recipe' 'recipe file' and 'recipe flattening' available each which require an output file. If its not resolveable - c'est la vie, however it would be hugely useful to me, to be able to batch add rec...

Re: Recipes and Batches?

OK - that works.

I note it rotates the file - I was hoping to simply add a recipe command, rather than save the file as rotated. Is this a lossy rotation or not?

Thanks for your help.

Recipes and Batches?

I'm having some trouble understanding how to batch add a recipe to a seires of images. Mostly I want to batch rotate images 90 or 270 deg by adding a rotation recipe. Is this possible?

Thanks for your help

Preview/Recipe Wierdness

I'm not sure how to describe this. I am using v 1.5.0.7.1 64 bits - I upgraded to the 64 bit version shortly after it became available and then -> 1.5.0.7.0 -> 1.5.7.0.1. I'm using the same database as the 32 bit version did. I uninstalled the 32 bit version as soon as I saw the 64 bit version worki...
