Re: access violation error

Any update on this...? Let me know if I can provide any more information to help troubleshoot or if there's a way I can reset IDImager to a state where I don't get this error. I found one other post that seems to report a similar error but it's in German.... http://forum.idimager.com/viewtopic.php?f...

Re: access violation error

The preview and image details panels are normally open for me (not sure if you consider them script panels). I first saw this problem when using the Google maps panel, although I do not normally have that panel open. I am using v4. I tried v5 and went back to v4 and this problem first occurred after...

Re: access violation error

Can anyone help with this? Symptoms I am experiencing for images I import into my catalog: 1. Image details are blank and I do not see all the tabs (see screen shot). 2. I cannot alt-click stars on the thumbnail to rate an image. 3. A shift-crtl-f12 generates the following error message (as reported...

access violation error

I get this error message when updating images details (adding a description) to multiple images, and when running a batch file that creates a web version of a jpg. I also see an error message at the same address (see attached jpg) when I attempt to run the Google Maps script panel. Can anyone help? ...

Re: making removing files clearer

I agree that the delete dialogue can be confusing. Hopefully something is in the works for v 5.

Re: Sync to photo sharing site.

I would LOVE this feature. My mom uses Picassa and it syncs with the web gallery -- very slick.

I realize that a lot depends on the photo sharing site, but this would be a huge addition to IDI if it could be made to work.

Downloaded files not going into correct subdirectory

I am inputting scanned files using the download feature, and they are not going into the correct sub directory. Based on the settings below, I would expect to get: ...Albums\Book35\Book35-02.tif Instead I get: ...Albums\Book35Book35-02.tif The subdirectory name is pre-pended to the file name, and th...

Re: Walk of shame - How to backuo???O

I use Mozy as well. After weighting pros and cons of various options, I decided it was the best approach for me. It just runs in the background and I know my files are in a safe offsite location without me having to mess with storing hard drives elsewhere or managing hard drive space. You need a fas...

Re: SQLite Error 11 and 21

The restore worked fine for me. I had to go back over a week to get a backup unaffected by the error, because I had continued to work after the error messages appeared. (That was my mistake and I know better now.) So I had to recreate a fair amount of work. But technically the restore worked fine. Y...

Re: error message - Invalid argument to date encode

I tried to recreate this, and have some more information. When running the VDW, the problem occurs or does not occur based on where the files are located. I went to backups, so I was working with the original files (i.e., before IDImager altered any meta data) that were affected by the issue. When I...

Re: error message - Invalid argument to date encode

Here is a NEF/JPEG pair that is affected by this.

Not sure if it matters, but the NEF is a scanned JPG that I edited in Capture NX2 and saved as a NEF. The JPG was created with a Save As in NX.

Thanks.

error message - Invalid argument to date encode

When I sync or run the versioning wizard for some images, I am getting an error message -- Invalid argument to date encode (0). I can successfully export catalog info to image XMP/XMTC (and visa versa), but I can't sync. I can also manually place the image in a version set. Anyone know what is going...

Re: suggested rewording of delete dialog

That makes sense. I wasn't sure if there could be a situation where the image wasn't in a collection (in which case that option would be greyed out).
