Re: Do you backup thumbnail database?

If those are PSU scripts that can be run from the new command line feature I should think a lot of people would be interested (including myself!) along with a "compact" script as well. That way a complete compact/backup and close PSU could be run overnight.

Re: Which folder should catalog be stored

You can move, and point PSU, at any location desired, be it a local or network drive, at least under Windows. It will remember the last location used and use that as the default next time round. Typically I have the main catalog on my workstation C: drive as its Flash, but I can access it from my La...

Re: "Version Sets Offset Folder": what is it goof for?

? Confused the option is available in version 4.1.3+ ? Why do you stick to an older version ? see below;

I was actually replying to the previous post expressing the same problem that I have with the limitations of Current and sibling

Re: "Version Sets Offset Folder": what is it goof for?

I find a similar problem, I like the facility to use but it is a real problem where various versions are not in the same "current or a sibling folder" I have several versions visible on a web server which I don't want to have in the same file structures as the masters and versions not for web access...

Re: delete empty folder freezes PSu, requires restart

No your not alone, deleting a folder seems to take ages, I've not actually timed it, I will try to remember next time, but it is rather bemusing as to why it should take so long.

Re: Out of sync assets

Could see that being helpful on the standalone version as well to run early hours each day to make sure everything is in sync!

Re: an error has occurred in the script on this page

I've seen this from time to time, sometimes on one machine whilst another on the same network is fine, but it comes and goes no obvious or repeatable pattern so far ....

Re: Unable to migrate to new computer

That's all I do when I need a copy to work on my laptop rather than on my main workstation, simply copy the two database files making sure that the actual images appear on the same drive letter of course on the different machines. The files may take a little while to transfer depending on network sp...

Applying recipes by Batch

Ok, what am I missing ? I can apply a "Recipe File" in batch mode which will produce a new image with the selected recipe applied to it, no problem. If I apply a "Recipe" in batch mode I was expecting for the original image to have applied the recipe as a layer to appear when displayed or applied to...

? Bug when saving image with recipe ?

Whilst playing around with various methods of watermarking an image I appear to have come across this bug; Having created a recipe (in this case to apply a watermark) from the "Adjust" interface I decided to try "Saving as" to my testing folder, instead of saving it in the expected folder, it recrea...

Re: GEO Reverse lookup language changed

Ah OK, I'll leave the question but you can correct it by Holding the left Mouse on the Reverse lookup button, I suspect I've held it too long at some point without realising it!

GEO Reverse lookup language changed

Interesting problem! How do I correct it ? The language for the Reverse Lookup has suddenly changed, from English/United Kingdom to a Russian looking character set !! Not aware of any changes that I have made! Earlier in the week it was looking up correctly but now it has suddenly changed. The norma...
