Re: External Viewer for Face / Regions names etc.

That's not really an option in this particular use, as there are a lot of images and was thinking of making a Zip of the files for the identified person to peruse at their leisure of all the races they had been in over a year. The idea was to include a viewer in the package as well or point to a sit...

External Viewer for Face / Regions names etc.

Is anyone aware of an external viewer (preferably free :-) ) that can highlight the xmp:mwg-rs regions and display the associated names ?
I've been trying a few of the common ones but none seem to support the feature (XnView, FPV, FastStone) :-(

Re: Facial recognition: a new option

Yea, yes TTP keeps Log files of all its activities! Including a line; "2019-07-16 17:11:00.8153|Trace|ImageFileManagerService|16[]|FileModified('P:\2019\03\20190330\DS7_0074.JPG', [hash], ImageId=>8115)" So extracting the file name is simple and creates a nice simple text file to feed into the exist...

Re: Facial recognition: a new option

Thanks yes that's what I thought and what I'm trying to avoid :-) I may go another route and try to get TTP to output a list of files that it has written to, then use that with the Script: "Read Metadata for Files in Text file This script will take a text file as input and for every file in the text...

Re: Facial recognition: a new option

Maybe, I assumed that Verify actually read each file and compared with the database, rather than checked the dates and skipped if there hadn't been a change? Just trying to avoid having to re-read every file if at all possible. Not quite sure what the actual process is ... goes searching ....

Re: Facial recognition: a new option

In connection with this thread, is there a function or script that can identify changed files and then re-read the metadata ? Not sure if the PSU database holds a "last read/write" DateTime to compare with a files "Last modified" date ? As this would make re-reading the changed files from TTP so muc...

Re: Version selection for selected items ?

Tks Mke, had read the forum discussions but not searched Mantis, quite a few interesting points from the 2014 discussions! Not sure any directly relate to being able to easily change the displayed default of Main, which makes sense in the starting situation but then makes it a very long winded proce...

Re: Facial recognition: a new option

Been trialling this software out for a couple of weeks and have now just bought a licence. It does it all off-line and stores the data locally in its database and when licensed in the XMP data as discussed above. In addition when re-reading the XMP data back into PSU it seems to be able to locate th...

Re: Version selection for selected items ?

OK so its not me missing a function. I'll put some words together for Mantis and ask Hertz to consider it for a future release!

Re: Version selection for selected items ?

Yes, I do likewise, but it doesn't help once the images are placed in the Image Basket, as then the image selected for display on the version tags is always the Main version :-(

Version selection for selected items ?

Is there a filter or mechanism for selecting a particular version in a selected group ? For instance when selecting images for display I often use the image basket, however when I view the image basket the Main version is always selected when I actually want the "processed version" and yet I don't s...

Re: Google API's ??

Yes looked back at the sign up email and it was clear, obviously didn't stick in the brain at the time! Ah well suspected it was too good to last, so will have to upgrade and hope that the prices stay at a sensible level I guess ..... we shall see in due course!
