In my Preferences, the Automatically written out Catalog changes to the image file option is checked.
When I updated a few labels, those images show in the Out of Sync as pending. Do label updated count as Catalog changes?

Found another one, Resource Name Full Exif Dump Resource Version 1.2 Category Metadata Downloads 1222 Release Date 4/24/2018 4:59:03 PM It finds lots of data but for the same image, 193 times. All 193 image thumbnails have been selected in the Folder view. Seems the script is stuck on the first imag...

Re: exporting more than just the labels
In the Photo Supreme | Resource Repository, I found a script that seemed to have what I need. Resource Name Analyse Exif Data Resource Version 1.2 Category Metadata Downloads 732 Release Date 12/6/2017 11:40:40 AM When I ran it on a small folder with 193 images, it just told me that: ISOSpeedRatings...

Re: exporting more than just the labels
Kind of figured that was the case. Is it possible to get the assignment counts via a script and has anyone made such a script?

exporting more than just the labels
I see where the category labels can be exported as a formatted vocabulary file.
Is there a way to also export how many images use each value like how it shows in the Categories tab?

missing labels
Not in the images but in the Label tab. I was applying some labels to a couple of images when suddenly, most of them disappeared and the PSU became unresponsive. missing labels.JPG finally, I got a popup titled Application exception which was an empty box. Clicked on the show details and nothing hap...

Re: some images not displaying
Selecting Ctrl-Alt-T via the right mouse button doesn't result in any change.
The 2 JPG files have been sent.

some images not displaying

These two are both from a Panasonic DMC-ZS50 as are the ones beside that do show. some JPG not showing anon.jpg ...

Re: removing extraneous keywords
Ah, good. I'll wait until all of the image folders have been imported, delete the extraneous keywords and then update the metadata in the files.

Re: What can I do with:"Error while converting RAW file. (-2) (0)"
What kind of raw file made by what camera? If the camera - lens combination is not supported by DXO I don't think it can process the resulting files.
I have some old CRW files from 2004 made by a Canon S30 that can't be processed
OOPS, didn't notice the named camera. Is it supported?

removing extraneous keywords
As I'm importing a new folder into PSU, I'm seeing a lot of keywords appearing in the Miscellaneous category in the form of word;word;word; etc. If select them and then from the right click menu, select delete, will it also remove them from the file itself? If not, is there an easy way to remove the...

Re: slow sync
1: yes a local drive
2: not yet but working on it
3: yes, all excluded
It's been 30 minutes so far and only 0.7%. Only 23,272 to go. Sure hope that SSD will make a big difference.

slow sync
I'm using build 3286 What is happening behind the scenes that makes the synchronization service so slow? I imported a new folder with about 33k images over 12 hours ago and it is still only at 16% completed. Total images now is just over 232k. There is lots of CPU activity, about 16% as well as memo...

Re: keyword organization
Thank you all for the organization information, lots of food for thought. Will have to review my keyword organization and see how it can be improved. @mike. Seems some of your examples are a bit too granular for me but I like the idea. I think I'll use the top level OBJECTS in PSU to place of what y...

keyword organization
I get that keywords help in finding a specific photo among the thousands stored in my collection. The WHO is obvious and taken mostly care of by face recognition. The WHEN is easy except for scanned images where the scanned date will often be long after the original image was made. As for WHERE, unle...
