Re: Capture One Pro 9 with Photo Supreme Workflow

@Stephen, Dont invest a Mil on my advise - lol, I would feel bad If I did not accurately get all of this captured correctly for you. Just doing my best to help you out. Got a ton on the plate at the moment, but "IF" I get the chance will post some snaps to Dropbox. Actually I think I can post the li...

Re: Out of Memory (0) Error

@HCS / @Stephen Yes, I was wondering if limited to the search result, but can't say for sure as its not consistent. Also agree, if that is the reason the exception should be handled better, maybe "Result Set Exceeds 30K" or whatever. Atlas would know the reason. I only have a few days of the Server ...

Main Browsing Group - Can it be made Faster

I had posted earlier about speeding up the browsing speed when looking at one picture at a time mode. It was recommended to turn off the load full image option and this has helped in a big way. The part of the program I find most slow is the main window, where you view the result set say 15 photos o...

Out of Memory (0) Error

Hi All, Im running the Server Version with Postgres. I keep getting the Out of Memory Error (0) when selecting any condition that seems to return more than say 20K results. I would not normally return such a large amount on a search, but when using a feature such as "browsing the technical info pane...

Re: Capture One Pro 9 with Photo Supreme Workflow

@Stephen

In PSu I have F-Number, Focal Length and Lens Information all with values store and visible in Psu.
All 3 items also Show in Capture one v9 populated with values.

I tested a couple random photos round trip out of Psu to Capture One.

Its seems to be there.

Re: Capture One Pro 9 with Photo Supreme Workflow

@Stephen, Been busy week/end. I see information there (Focal and Lens Info) and they appear to be correct. What is sort of off is sometimes my Nikon tele shows up as: 70-200mm F2.8-F2.8 (Raw Files) but for the derivatives of those files that are JPG or TIF the lens reads: 70-200.0mm f/2.8 Almost non...

Re: Why are you using the Postgres DB version of Photo Supreme?

For me it is that Postgre is a solid full database solution. I just prefer that. I may want it to be multi user later so why not start right :-)

Re: Capture One Pro 9 with Photo Supreme Workflow

HCS,
Yes, C1 needs to be closed in the session that you want to use with PSU. This is rather unfortunate, but that's the way it is. I have created a session for this, i just called it "PhotoSupreme" and leave it at that.
Yep I discovered this also. I called it BlankSession LOL.

Re: Capture One Pro 9 with Photo Supreme Workflow

You MUST mark at least 2 images in PSu before opening C1 and you will then get a new session. :D Other files will 'register' with C1 in the background, but it will not slow you down too much as it creates its cos files.
That was an interesting find! Thanks.

Re: Looking for Postgre & Photo Supreme expert to remote login to help

Hi There,

I was having problems where Postgre was reporting not running.
I found this product Postgre APP. It made running Postgre very easy.
I have a bit more details on getting in in a recent post in the forum.

Its worth a try.

Re: PostgreSQL Issues

Just wanted to post a followup. POSTGRES.APP (A God Send) http://postgresapp.com Love this app. Basically D/L it, install it and your Postgres is ready to go. I have experimented moving the DATA file around, restarting the OSX and just about every other iteration I can think of. I have tested with p...

Re: PostgreSQL Issues

Acetain and HCS, Yep I spent far too long googling the possibilities. For my satisfaction Im going to install PostgreSQL again and say make the DATA area on the default. I just have to K N O W what is happening. Its a bit of fun also, frustrating, but I want to understand whats happened. In the goog...
