Maybe you should take Facebook off your product page (http://www.idimager.com/WP/?page_id=20), since it hasn't been supported for three years.
I would use it, but it's not that big of a deal that you don't support it.

Re: Problems reading metadata from CRW files
What I did was: 1) Batch process the bad CRW files to copy them out to a new directory 2) Run exiftool -tagsFromFile %f.CRW -ext XMP . 3) Copy the resulting XMP files back (that took some scripting to get them all back in their correct subdirectories) 4) Reload the metadata 5) Rebuild the thumbnails...

Re: Problems reading metadata from CRW files
It writes out an updated XMP file, and the new file has the new (wrong) CreatedDate in the photoshop schema, but it doesn't fix anything else.

Re: Controlling version matching
In case anybody else comes here and wants to know what I ended up doing, I ended up exporting all the Media Pro data as XMP sidecars and copying all the files on import. It almost worked perfectly except for a chunk of photos that I had manipulated in shotwell under Linux, and because of timezone is...

Re: Confusion about import dates
OK. I've figured out part of what's going on. It seems that for some CRW files, it's unable to read the file metadata, sort of. So it names the file by the last-modified date of the original file in the file system, but then doesn't fill in any of the metadata, so the "date" that Photo Supreme uses ...

Problems reading metadata from CRW files
I just converted my whole image library from Media Pro/Media Expressions, and mostly I've been really happy with Photo Supreme (and the helpfulness of you guys on the forum). The scripting capability especially I've found so powerful. I posted a question a few days ago about some date confusion (htt...

Re: Display of version sets
Brilliant! Thank you. Other than asking here, where should I have found that? Is it in one of the manuals?

Re: Display of version sets
Is there some way to "install" scripts? I read something about a "Script Manager," but I haven't been able to find that.

Re: Display of version sets
OK, I realize I must be missing something super obvious, but how do you run the script to filter down to one image per version set? I downloaded the script, I opened scripter and I clicked Run, but nothing happened. I googled around and looked through all the manuals, but I couldn't find anything to...

Re: Display of version sets
Thanks, Vlad. I left a note reflecting how I think about the problem (which may not align with how anybody else thinks about it).

Confusion about import dates
Hi all - I just imported 16K photos from Media Pro to Photo Supreme, and it mostly went well, but there are a few odd things. One is that I have about 1000 photos that were correctly renamed on import but have the wrong date when locating by date. More specifically, I had Photo Supreme import photos...

Display of version sets
Hello all - I'm still quite new to Photo Supreme, having just converted from Media Pro, so I'm still getting used to some of the concepts. One thing that has surprised me is that sometimes when I click on a grouping in the left-hand nav, it will show every version in a version set separately. It see...

Re: Controlling version matching
Thanks for all the suggestions. I thought about renaming, but I want to import all the metadata from Media Pro, and of course all the images are identified by their current file name in the export from Media Pro. So I don't want to rename them all until I get the metadata synced and I can't get the ...

Controlling version matching
Hi all - I'm going to be switching to a new DAM from Media Pro and am experimenting with IDimager. There's a lot to like, especially the way that it deals with versions. I'm having a problem, though, in that when importing my whole catalog, there are a lot of images with file names that match but ar...
