Re: Movies not importing

Also, I imported a bunch of stuff from my phone and movies (MP4 and 3GP) did import. It's only from the Canon card that I'm having this problem.

Re: Movies not importing

Yes. I should have mentioned that I had already checked that.

Movies not importing

Looking around through the documentation and forums, it seems that movies should be getting imported along with images; however, it's not happening for me. I have a CF card from my Canon 7DMkII that has .CR2 and .MP4 files on it. When I import, the .CR2 files get imported, but the .MP4 files are lef...

How often does Photo Supreme crash for you?

Hey all - I'm wondering how often I should expect Photo Supreme to crash. For me it's about every few hours that I'm working with it. It's not a big deal as I just reopen and everything is right where I left it, but it's a little disconcerting. Is my experience completely out-of-line with everybody ...

Super slow tumbnail loading

One of the reasons I switched from Media Expressions to Photo Supreme is that once I moved my images to a NAS, every operation with EM was sooo slow. Photo Supreme is better in most respects, but scrolling through my collection is excruciating. When I scroll down a page, none of the thumbnails appea...

Re: Greater than, less than operators in searches?

Thanks. I'll check that out. I haven't done anything with macros, so I didn't bother to look at it!

Re: Greater than, less than operators in searches?

Unfortunately, I didn't have a chance to get to this last night. It shouldn't be very hard - the one thing I don't know how to do is get user input for filter scripts (e.g. to get the dimension and search values). I'll try to poke around some tonight. If anybody has any pointers on getting input, th...

OK. When I get home tonight I'll give it a shot and try to update it if needed.

Re: Greater than, less than operators in searches?

Seems like that script already exists: http://scripts.idimager.com/cgi-bin/idi ... aeb27e3ac3

If it doesn't do what you want and you don't know how to make it do that, let me know.

Re: PostgreSQL Issues

If the server is really not running (did you try running a ps from the shell to verify?), then there are two possibilities: it never tried to start or it died during startup. For the first, are you sure that it's configured to start on boot? It has been a long time since I've done much with OSX, so ...

Better scripting manual?

Is there any better resource for the scripting language than http://www.idimager.com/repository/documentation/AllUnits.htm ? It's hardly more than a simple list of all the methods on the various objects - it contains very little semantic information about how the objects are organized, which methods...

Re: JPG and XMP files

Thanks. Unfortunately, since I imported the JPEG files and they got renamed on import, is there going to be any way for the batcher to know which XMP file to use for each JPEG? I'm guessing I'm just going to have to re-import everything, either using Media Pro to update the JPEG first, or using exif...

JPG and XMP files

As anybody who has been following the forum knows ( ), I just switched my image database from Media Pro to Photo Supreme. The way I transferred the metadata was to export the Media Pro data in XMP files and then import the images in Photo Supreme. Everything seemed to work great, but I've bee...
