Re: Workflow to standardize metadata?

Sorry, you're right of course.

I was mixing things up with the XMP-MP versus XMP-MWG issue/feature thingie...

Re: Workflow to standardize metadata?

When PSU writes data into XMP, what happens to similar metadata already stored elsewhere in the image container? Is there any potential for data conflicts? From my own limited experience, it would seem, that metadata converted into XMP remains in its original place as well. Further edits of metadat...

Re: Getting rid of old Facetags

To get rid of Microsoft regions you'll have to delete them in Microsoft tools. PSU writes Metadata Workgroup regions and not Microsoft regions. My assumption was, that the XMP-MP regions would be converted (i.e. transformed) into XMP-WMG regions, hence disappear in the process. My mistake. If the a...

Info display in fullscreen view behaves unpredictably

If I use the light table fullscreen view, then the LCD'ish infobox remains present at all times.

Is this a bug or a feature?

Re: Getting rid of old Facetags

You can manually import matadata changes by selecting the thumbs and then right click on a selected thumb and select Metadata - Read metadata from file Thanks - exactly what I needed. Now, it would seem I have an working workflow. Odd, still, that xmp-mp tags gets wrong positioning when imported, b...

Re: Getting rid of old Facetags

If I manually correct the off-the-mark facetags, empty the Photo Supreme database, and re-import the pictures, then I get double facetags: correctly aligned ones, that I manually made, and the original ones, which I hoped would be deleted from the file in my cleanup process. (...) A working exiftoo...

Getting rid of old Facetags

Greetings, I am investigating a move to Photo Supreme. I have quite a few photos, which were facetagged with Picase some years ago, then had the tags encoded into the files using XMP-MP tags (with AvPicFaceXmpTagger). When importing such picts into Photo Supreme, the facetags are unfortunately way o...
