Re: Public Beta for Photo Supreme Online

Hert, as I run the SQLite version (and am probably not best placed to swap to server at the moment) I can't help with this particular testing, however it's great to see the progress that you've been making on this!

Re: Fuzzy/approximate dates?

I have a lot of scanned images and would benefit from an approximate date. Me too - nearly 6,000 of them scanned so far, with maybe another 10,000 pending. As per my message mentioned by LifeIsLong, I record the date of scans in the file name only, using fillers for unknowns - so 199ymmdd or (if th...

Re: Fuzzy/approximate dates?

Looks like CIPA DC-010-2020 (the 2020 version of Exif Version 2.32, if that make's any sense), available from here is the latest. It does reference ISO 8601, but hasn't incorporated the 'fuzzy date notation'.

No, none of those apply. I'll report back if I can identify any specific trigger.

Cloud Vision API error

Although I'm not attempting to use AI for labeling, I am very occasionally getting the error message below while manually labeling.

Presumably this shouldn't be happening.

Re: tiff gets corrupted by photo supreme

for the DNG I checked and so far the black dng seem all to come from a photophone (LG G4) I can confirm that DNGs taken with Android phones will show up black in PSU (see also https://forum.idimager.com/viewtopic.php?f=57&t=26246) My workaround is to use the 'RAW+JPG' mode on the phone (or generate...

Re: Create a label set from an xls or csv file

In the absence of a solution to your question, these other options may help: drag and drop the individual labels from 'recently used' to the label set copy and paste the labels from one photo of a particular boat to all other photos of that boat (ALT+SHIFT+C & ALT+SHIFT+V in Windows), or set up rela...

Re: Importing Media Pro Catalog Sets

Hi Alain

I'm not familiar with Media Pro, however there's an old thread on the Exiftool forum that might help?

Re: File moving slowdown

Build 2869 no longer shows a 'Building thumbnails' process. There is only a 'Moving files' process. The reported times are consistent - the spinner stops at the same time as the 'Moving files' process ends. I've just emailed you a couple of videos illustrating the two cases mentioned in the bullet p...

Re: File moving slowdown

Testing with build 2896 has turned up some very interesting results. After upgrading, a couple of untimed test runs, and then a reboot, I'm now getting a time of around 2' 32" until the 'Moving files' message box disappears, which is an improvement. Curiously, that's also the time that I was getting...
