Re: Roundtrip with Capture One

Use the script as follows: 1. Download the file to your hard drive 2. In Photo Supreme, select the images that you'd like to process 3. Select Tools -> Scripter 4. Load the downloaded script 5. Run the script by clicking the run button in the scripter's toolbar. Does that help? Thanks Hert. No, unf...

Re: Roundtrip with Capture One

Would it help if I write a script for you that processes each selected RAW file thumbnail in PSU and checks for a corresponding JPG file and then renames it to the preview extension? Hert, certainly! But, then rather from a separate subfolder (something like C1_preview or so), otherwise it might re...

Re: Roundtrip with Capture One

Hi Hert, Thanks much for responding. I get what you say. Even if i think it could be worked out, it doesn't matter. What would be possible is that the raw converter of choice produces a jpeg in the image folder, or in a subfolder of the image folder and that PSU then is able to "absorb" that jpeg as...

Roundtrip with Capture One

Hi, I am looking for a good workflow, if possible automatic, to work with Capture One Pro. I've read Hert's reply to an earlier thread about integrating the preview with another raw converter (http://forum.idimager.com/viewtopic.php?f=57&t=23343&p=105816&hilit=.preview#p105816), but that's not all t...

Re: Import from MediaPro questions

Hert, Thanks alot for your support, here and via Mantis. Great stuff! The counter problem was related to the way the import handles the file paths. I remapped the file path of the top folder from the Media Pro import to the correct physical folder from the picture import and all is fine and dandy. A...

Re: Import from MediaPro questions

Importing MediaPro files that are written with the Posix format will be in the next update (build 1040) Thanks, that would be nice. In the mean time i've been trying the non-POSIX way. the media item section of the XML file now says: <MediaItem> <AssetProperties> <Filename>_HCS0003047.nef</Filename...

Re: Import from MediaPro questions

It's indeed in POSIX format, read somewhere that that was required. It's a setting in Media Pro.

I'll try without the setting and report back. Might be something for your tips & tricks thread.

Re: Import from MediaPro questions

I sent the file to the support email address. It's still a large file (9.9 Mb), so i hope it arrives.

If it doesn't, please let me know.

Re: Import from MediaPro questions

I can certainly send you a snippet of the file, since it is very big, around 124 Mb. I'll try email first.

I'm on a Mac.

Import from MediaPro questions

Hi, Imported my RAWs and now loaded the xml from Media Pro. However, i must be doing something wrong, because the data from the files is loaded but not connected to the actual picture files. The picture counter also doubles, so something isn't right. What should be the steps i have to follow to get ...

Re: New feature in latest update

Thanks for the reply. It means that the sidecar files will be kept together with your image files, so when you move/delete/rename files then the sidecar files will mirror the changes. The .cos files are in a sub-directory in the image directory. Is that taken into account? Is it picking up metadata ...

New feature in latest update

Hi, I'm new to the forum and rather new to PSU. I updated to the latest release and found the release notes in another thread. One of the improvements is "Added support for CaptureOne .cos sidecar files". What does this entail? Is it picking up metadata from Capture One? Or also the versions? What a...
