Re: Versions created with external applications

Hi Tom AT the moment there is No version detection capability - once the images are "in" Supreme. There are hopes that it may be added at some stage. What I have done is remove the images from the catalog - "delete - but leave images on disk" and re import the images (with an Import Profile that doe...

Re: Losing metadata after using GeoSetter

Hi Mark I use Geosetter (admittedly for Raw NEF's Mostly) and .. 1. I have set Geosetter ONLY to write to XMP for RAW 2. I have added Image Details and Some Catlog Labels in Supreme first 3. I make 100% sure that the images are In Sync in Supreme before I pass them off to Geosetter 4. After Saving t...

Re: Tips for working with Photo Supreme

Assigning Catalogue labels during Import - To Selected Images When Importing you can Assign Catalog Labels to sets of the Marked Images that you are importing. Just SELECT (not Mark - Not the Green Tag) the images that you want the label assigned to - open the LAP - and assign the labels. Great for...

Assign - Copy and Paste Labels

Hi Do other users find the Black Border in the Assigned Labels very small and narrow to Right click on to "activate" the Copy/Paste Labels option ? 07-11-2012 03-18-43 PM.png Especially when you only have three labels (default width on my system). I find that I struggle and have to concentrate to ac...

Re: GPS data and PSU

Hi Tom Save to metadata in Geosetter, sync in PSU. Aye - There's the rub. :-) In V5 it was merely Save Metadata in Geosetter - and sit back and watch IDimager pick-up the changes. AFAIK the radius feature is used for "auto assigning" catalog labels based on Geo Co Ordinates. I think it looks at the ...

Re: GPS data and PSU

Hi Tom I am afraid I must both agree and disagree with you here. I also use Geosetter to tag my images and in Supreme the changes made in Geosetter are NOT automatically picked up by Supreme (unlike in V5). You need to manually "import" the changes made in Geosetter into Supreme. I think that Suprem...

Re: Label Assignment Panel Requests

Hi Mike In that case, your idea wouldn't help. Ja - I know - Just trying to find some solution to speed up the time to "find" my required label in the "Find" results :-) I suppose a good method for determining which way the brain best locates the catalog label is to look at how the user (ME) has org...

Re: Label Assignment Panel Requests

Hi Hert Also, for the (relatively) few occasions that you need to check the hierarchy, then you can also expand the catalog explorer by clicking the arrow icons. That way the active selection is not changed while you can still access the hierarchy. Is this being implemented in the next release ? At ...

Re: Label Assignment Panel Requests

Hi Implementation - actually all I am looking for is the similar implementation to V5 - where is is a little button in the LAP that pops up a catalog tree. That won't help Jim - I think. Also I wonder if the Search Function would be more useful is the results were displayed group by First Level - e....

Re: Label Assignment Panel Requests

Hi Hert Mike, to check if you've got a label for Jim you can use the search box in the LAP, even the main search box. That assumes I know what the label is "called" - for example I think I want to label the image "Bill" - but actually I previously created a label called "William" But when I browse t...

Re: Label Assignment Panel Requests

It's Plus 1 from me. I often find the need to locate a Label in its context (where its exist in the tree - and if it doesn't exist then how should it be created and named). It is laborious to swap out of the Assign Panel - into Catalog Tree - Find the Context - Create the Label / Add and existing on...

Re: Thumbnail colour management & rebuild

Hi Jim

And even quicker way to rebuild all the thumbs.

Delete the Thumbs database (with Supreme Closed)
When you open Supreme it will Auto Create the Thumbs Database File (empty )
Select Tools - Rebuild Missing Thumbs
